IB Psychology students benefited from an integrated biology lesson

The IB is designed in such a way that one subject cannot be taught in isolation. Each subject is connected to another, which makes it interdisciplinary, or integrated. When we study human behaviour in psychology, we need to have a direct link to biology and how the human brain works. What are the special mechanisms that are involved? To widen students’ perspectives our IB Biology teacher, Mr. Sandip Kulkarni, took a lesson with IB Psychology students and drew a direct link between Biology and Psychology. Students have gained insight into various aspects of human behaviour and physiological connections.
