Experience at Brookes Moscow bording house is a step towards an independent life. At Brookes Moscow, being an international school, many students wish to study outside Russia and outside of their home countries. I am certain that the boarding school experience will provide me with an opportunity to get ready for a brighter future and be more self-reliant. Moreover, we go on weekly excursions with teachers on the weekends. These cultural trips enrich our thoughts and widen perspectives to become better students.

• Year 13, Boarding Prefect 2022/2023

This year I got an incredible opportunity to stay at the Brookes boarding house in Moscow. It is my first time living away from home, and even though I've been to several summer camps, it never felt so real and close to the real world. The house parents are extremely friendly and supportive, and so are the boarders. It's an extraordinary experience for me as I get to live with my classmates and communicate with them outside of school. Living under the same roof definitely has an impact on our bonding as a team. Year 13 is generally a very stressful time in terms of deadlines and exams but at the boarding, we have daily prep time so that we don't fall behind. Finally, despite all the care and attention that we are provided with, I feel like living at the boarding house teaches us the independence that most of us will need next year.
