Charley King has worked in a variety of schools for over 25 years, both in the UK and Internationally. He is an Independent Schools Inspectorate, and an Evaluation Team Member for the Council of International Schools.
He has spent most of his educational career working in Independent Day & Boarding Schools. In his 6 Year tenure for Brookes Russia, a number of projects have been successfully launched under the Brookes Education Group Banner: Brookes Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Brookes LIFE, Boarding and the latest Kindergarten in the city centre, Brookes SAVVIN.
Brendan Daniel Henderson

We are excited to welcome Brendan Henderson as our new Head of Upper and Senior School. Brendan comes with a wealth of experience in international schools, having taught in Malawi, Spain and Russia as well as in his native Ireland. Brendan's previous role was as Deputy Head with responsibility for Sixth Form, in which he was responsible for helping numerous students gain entry to Oxbridge and Ivy League Universities.

After my degree in Mass Communication I decided to continue my
education and combine my passion for working with children through a
post graduate diploma in teaching and learning. As soon as I received my
qualification I set off to travel and teach around the world and have
taught in the Australian desert. Following this I taught in an IB school
inside the Shanghai Zoo for 5 years and then moved to Moscow teaching
4 years in an English Curriculum School before making the move to
Brookes where I have taught Pre-Nursery, Reception and Year One.
Ivan Koshevoi

I was always interested in education and in acquiring new knowledge. I have been
working in the educational sector for 17 years, and for most of my career, I have
been working with children from all walks of life. This is surely my passion and call
in life. I have had the pleasure to work in several well-known private Schools in
Moscow, as a Tutor, Civics Teacher, Deputy Headmaster, IB Diploma Coordinator
and Head of Boarding. I now see myself as being a Boarding and Pastoral specialist.
My first degree is in Psychology, followed by a Ph. D. in Law with a background in
criminal law and criminology. I have 3 fascinating kids who I am exceedingly proud
of. As an educator, I am keen at instilling in each individual strong life skills with
respect to human rights. This can only be achieved through a nurturing personality.
My previous experience as a criminal detective has surely exposed me to such ideals.
I am glad to be part of an international team of Boarding professionals, in the best
School in Russia, if not the whole world!
Sindhu Varrier

Sindhu devoted her life to helping children overcome temporary difficulties, embrace challenges and unlock their potential in long and rewarding educational journey. She joined Brookes Russia first in Saint Petersburg, where she beautifully managed the whole school, and later moved to Brookes Moscow to become a social educator.
