In Brookes Moscow Early Years our learners aim for the stars! Last week we celebrated Cosmonautics Day or День Космона́втики with a story about Yuri Gargarin's school and childhood, what he loved to do and how hard he worked to achieve his dreams. After learning about Yuri's 1 hour and 48 minutes in space we celebrated our own learners' growth, improving skills and new knowledge with what is known as the 'Stella of the Week!' Children are always so happy to see that the efforts they make everyday in both the classroom and Specialist lessons such as Music, Mandarin, PHE and Swimming are recognised and rewarded in positive, fun and celebratory ways!
