The Gryphon Award 2019 | Young Musician of the Year at Brookes Moscow

On March 26 at Brookes Moscow ten young talents competed for a title of the Young Musician of the Year, exclusive trophy and a two-day trip to the Proms in London. More details can be found on https://www.gryphonaward.com/. The Gryphon Award united on one stage finalists in different categories: piano, academic voice, strings, classical guitar and brass.

Each performance was thoroughly enjoyed by all the guests, five professional judges (Ekaterina Mechetina, Dmitry Illarionov, Arkady Shilkloper, Polina Shamaeva and Vladimir Tretyakov) and HRH Prince Michael of Kent. Ivan Bessonov, who is currently holding a title of the Eurovision Young Musician of the Year, supported finalists with a passionate performance!

A gifted violinist – Elizaveta Malysheva, whose unique technique and artistic performance fascinated the audience, received a desired prize.
