Autumn Festival on Friday

AutumnFestival-10-scaled

The energy was alive all around Brookes school on the 21st October, as we saw our Autumn Festival come to an end with many joyful and fantastic activities. Everyone was in high spirits, and it was a delight to see how many students, teachers and administrative staff in fancy dresses and creative costumes participated in this amazing event!

In the morning all Early Years and Lower School students, as well as parents and staff, were treated to a dynamic assembly led by Mr. Mallon and assisted by Ms. Johnston and Mr. Ackers. In our Early Years hall Upper and Senior School students bobbed for apples, painted faces, held a bake sale and painted pumpkins.

Later in the afternoon staff and parents enjoyed a dance performance of “Thriller” by our Year 3-6 students, led by Ms. Diz. Finally, the Upper and Senior School held a House assembly and students engaged in Halloween trivia, answering riddles and questions for House points. It was a wonderful way to end the first half term of school!
