Brookes Moscow school is full of talents! We have different students not only with musical and creative abilities, but also we have leaders in sport. This week our students together with PHE teachers (Prem Bahadur, Svetozar Marusic and Galina Laputina) went to Abu Dhabi to participate in the World Schools Basketball Cup Championships.

We are proud to introduce you to our Professional Basketball and PHE Teacher, Svetozar Marusic. The initial steps Svetozar took in his earlier career were made in BC Torlak in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

The energy was alive all around Brookes school on the 21st October, as we saw our Autumn Festival come to an end with many joyful and fantastic activities. Everyone was in high spirits, and it was a delight to see how many students, teachers and administrative staff in fancy dresses and creative costumes participated in this amazing event!

Last week was a festive week at Brookes Moscow with the start of our “Autumn Festival” and autumn themed activities and events.

Creativity and talent run in the Brookes Moscow Family! At last week’s Upper and Senior School assembly students held a ‘Brookes Got Talent’ show, where students showed various musical talents and performed for their peers and teachers.

On Thursday, 13th October, our Year 4B and 4R students welcomed children from the Paper Bird Children’s Hospice into school and had a fun-filled and engaging morning with them in the Early Years hall!

At Brookes we believe in experiential learning. This is a process of learning through which a chosen experience is supported by reflection and critical thinking from our learners that allow them to take initiative and make decisions.

Last Friday, our DP2 (Y13) Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Systems and Society students conducted soil and water analysis session.

On Thursday 6th October, our Year 11 students undertook their third Personal Project workshop of the year. The planning has now been completed and submitted by all students and for the next month they will be working on their final products!

Recently our Upper and Senior school students participated in a volleyball and basketball tournament where they displayed outstanding effort and sportsmanship, performing their skills in front of fellow students and teachers.
