The Art of Debate

The Brookes Model United Nations students recently attended the Moscow Model United Nations held at CIS Gorki on the 1st and 2nd of June. Our delegation consisted of nine students representing various countries across three different committees. We are thrilled to announce that we brought home seven out of eleven awards.

General Assembly Committee 1:

- Preston Drake (Afghanistan) - Honorable Special Mention

- Selina Karakaya (USA) - Honorable Special Mention

General Assembly Committee 2:

- So Heon Bang (France) - Honorable Special Mention

- Mirel Luts (Chile) - Best Delegate

General Assembly Committee 3:

- Anay Saran (Argentina) - Honorable Mention

- Yuna Cho (Uganda) - Honorable Mention

- Basma (Canada) - Best Delegate

Our students excelled in their roles, demonstrating exceptional diplomatic skills and mastering the art of debate. Their commitment and hard work truly paid off, as they owned the sessions and made significant contributions to the discussions.
