Charley King has worked in a variety of schools for over 25 years, both in the UK and Internationally. He is an Independent Schools Inspectorate, and an Evaluation Team Member for the Council of International Schools. He has spent most of his educational career working in Independent Day & Boarding Schools. In his 6 Year tenure for Brookes Russia, a number of projects have been successfully launched under the Brookes Education Group Banner, inclubing Brookes Moscow.

Paul is an experienced teacher and leader with more than 20 years of experience in the classroom. Before joining Brookes Moscow in 2018, he taught in schools across Europe and Asia, taking on a variety of roles across different age ranges. Paul first encountered the Primary Years Programme (PYP) at an international school in Shanghai, China, and he has been an enthusiast of the programme ever since. As a lifelong learner, Paul appreciates the professional development opportunities he has been given throughout his career, and considers the IB PYP training he received on ‘Reading & Writing through inquiry’ as the most transformative for his understanding of how to implement inquiry-based ideas in the classroom. Paul has taken on a number of leadership roles in the PYP and was the Programme Coordinator before becoming the Head of Early Years and Lower School at Brookes Moscow.

We are excited to welcome Brendan Henderson as our new Head of Upper and Senior School. Brendan comes with a wealth of experience in international schools, having taught in Malawi, Spain and Russia as well as in his native Ireland. Brendan’s previous role was as Deputy Head with responsibility for Sixth Form, in which he was responsible for helping numerous students gain entry to Oxbridge and Ivy League Universities.

Sindhu devoted her life to helping children overcome temporary difficulties, embrace challenges and unlock their potential in long and rewarding educational journey. She joined Brookes Russia first in Saint Petersburg, where she beautifully managed the whole school, and later moved to Brookes Moscow to become a social educator.
