Charley King has worked in a variety of schools for over 25 years, both in the UK and Internationally. He is an Independent Schools Inspectorate, and he has spent most of his educational career working in Independent Day & Boarding Schools.

Paul is an experienced teacher and leader with more than 20 years of experience in the classroom. Before joining Brookes Moscow in 2018, he taught in schools across Europe and Asia, taking on a variety of roles across different age ranges. As a lifelong learner, Paul appreciates the professional development opportunities he has been given throughout his career. Paul has taken on a number of leadership roles and was the Programme Coordinator before becoming the Head of Early Years and Lower School at Brookes Moscow.

Sindhu Varrier

Sindhu devoted her life to helping children overcome temporary difficulties, embrace challenges and unlock their potential in long and rewarding educational journey. She joined Brookes Russia first in Saint Petersburg, where she beautifully managed the whole school, and later moved to Brookes Moscow to become a social educator.

Stephen have worked in international schools in Russia after studying and teaching in England and Ireland. Stephen has progressed throughout a 13 year career from an Early Years teacher, holding other positions of responsibility including subject coordinator, mentor, SENCO and now Head of Inclusion. Stephen is currently en route to complete his Masters in Education, focusing on inclusive educational leadership. He strives to add more to any school environment by providing extra-curricular options, most notably football and previously coached golf. Given his passion for inclusive education, Stephen promotes adaptive teaching practices at the forefront of child-centred learning.

Jason is an enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching. After many years working in Scotland where he held the position of ‘Head of English’ at his former school Jason moved to Madrid. During his four years in Spain Jason combined his love of working in the classroom with roles as a ‘Head of Year’ and ‘Deputy Head of School’. Since moving to Moscow Jason has dedicated himself to improving the learning opportunities and environment for children in Early Years & Lower School in his roles as Pastoral Lead and Deputy Head of School all the while maintaining his role as a homeroom teacher in Year 6. Outside of the classroom Jason has continued to coach the Lower School girls and boys football teams, hosted numerous events including the yearly ‘Autumn Festival’ as well as working collaboratively with the Brookes Trust to further engagement between home and school.

Mary is an experienced English educator and Head of Department with over 15 years of experience in international education and leadership. Passionate about professional development, she has participated in numerous workshops as both a learner and facilitator. Dr. Mary’s dedication to academic excellence and holistic development equips her students to thrive in a global education landscape.
