Charity Day

Last Friday our Year 11 students took the lead as they organised and ran a school Charity Day. Throughout the year, the students have been participating in service learning, researching charities and working closely with some local and global organisations. On Friday the students organised activities for students in Years 3 – 12 to raise awareness of the work done by these different charities. This included making masks, having debates and learning from a guest speaker from the charity. Unfortunately the event was unexpectedly cut short; however the Year 11 students can be proud of what they achieved and we will continue to explore Service as Action across the whole programme.
