Theatre plays a special role in the life of Brookes Moscow

We believe that the stage helps students develop their talents, build confidence, and learn how to work as a team — that’s why drama is an important part of our Performing Arts programme.

Recently, the famous Broadway musical «Cats» by Andrew Lloyd Webber came to life on the Brookes Moscow stage. Our MYP students from Years 7 to 11 showcased their acting, singing, and dancing talents in this vibrant production.

The project brought together the Performing Arts and Music Plus departments and was the result of two and a half months of intensive vocal and acting rehearsals.

The performance captivated the audience with its creative set design, expressive feline costumes, and live renditions of iconic songs like «Memory», «Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats», «Macavity», and «The Rum Tum Tugger.

At the end of the show, our students were proud to see the incredible results of their dedication — a powerful and emotional performance that left no one untouched.
