Calling All Young Musicians!
Brookes Moscow invites all music-loving students to participate in our annual Young Musician of the Year competition. Since 2019, we have proudly organised competitions for aspiring performers as part of the Gryphon Awards, helping young talents shine and make their mark in the world. Musical competitions were held in 2021, 2023, and 2024, and in 2025, we anticipate an even greater event, both in scale and success.
Join the constellation of exceptional performers from across Russia, showcase your talent, and compete for the Grand Prize of 250,000 rubles. The runner-up will receive 100,000 rubles.
Participation is completely free! Students from any school in Russia are welcome to apply (except those attending professional music schools). Brookes Moscow is committed to supporting young musical talent by offering gifted performers the chance to take the stage, share the results of their hard work with an esteemed jury, and gain the recognition they deserve as Young Musician of the Year.
Here’s how your journey to recognition begins and the title of Young Musician of the Year begins:
- Review the competition rules and submit your application by March 15th, 2025.
- Participate in live auditions on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, held in the Brookes Moscow Performance Hall. Auditions will be evaluated by a distinguished jury of accomplished musicians and music educators, who specialise in various disciplines.
- Shine in the Final Round, held as a Gala Concert on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025. Open to the public and participants’ families, this special evening will take place in the Brookes Moscow Performance Hall.
