Literacy week is an annual event to promote the enjoyment of books and reading. Each year, various activities take place in schools and libraries all over the world to promote a love of reading and all things book-related!
Brookes Moscow was absolutely brimming with books between 24th-28th April this year as students and staff across the school embraced all of the activities available. There was a ‘Readathon’ (marathon of reading), a book swap, decorative doors, an interactive reading booth, as well as the book week classic: Character Dress-up Day!
This is always a highlight in the school calendar and it was really lovely to see the school community enthusing about reading for the week - let’s keep this up for the rest of the year and beyond!
