The Admissions Journey

Our Admissions Team is dedicated to helping families get to know us and providing support through the application process. We aim to make the process as smooth as possible for you. Every application is reviewed by our director and head of admissions to help determine if Brookes School is the best option for your child. The admissions team is available by email or by phone to answer any questions that may arise regarding visits, the admission process, required forms/documents, or assessments.

Ways to visit Brookes

Fill in the application form here. Submit the necessary documents and application fee according to the checklists below. The admissions team will contact you via email once the application has been reviewed and is ready for the next step.

Apply

Your child(ren) will be invited into school and assessed on the following: social capability, academic level, and potential to succeed. For Early Years entry, your child(ren) will be invited to attend a Discovery Day where they will spend some time in the class. For entry to Year 3-12, your child(ren) will need to sit entrance examinations and also provide previous MYP/GCSE results if applicable (for Years 12-13). Lastly, you and your child(ren) will have an interview with the school’s director.

Once we have the results of the interviews and assessments, and/or feedback from the Discovery Days, we will make a placement offer, a conditional offer requiring that certain criteria are met before we confirm your acceptance, a place on the waiting list, or a decline. We endeavour to respond to the completed admissions process within 3-5 working days.

Offers can be accepted or declined through email communication. Once you accept the offer, we will ask for signing of the contract and a non-refundable Capital fee payment per child to reserve the place. We will then send you our Welcome Pack. This has all the information you need before starting with us. The tuition fee requires to be paid as per schedule. For borders, we necessitate additional documents before they start school (please refer to the checklists mentioned in step 2).

Join

You have made it! We will invite you into school for New Student Orientation. Once you start, we also put on a number of welcome / bonding events for students and parents including coffee mornings for new parents and activity days.
